Emirates Adds Third Daily Flights to Dublin and Mauritius from Late 2025, Enhancing Global Connectivity

Starting late 2025, Emirates will launch a third daily flight to both Dublin and Mauritius, boosting connectivity, tourism, and business travel across global markets.

Dublin

In a strategic move to strengthen its global route network, Emirates has announced the launch of a third daily flight to both Dublin, Ireland and Mauritius starting in late 2025. This capacity boost not only enhances connectivity to and from Dubai but also underscores the airline’s commitment to meeting rising global travel demand, particularly across Europe, Africa, and the Indian Ocean region.

The announcement comes amid strong international tourism recovery and growing passenger interest in flexible flight options. With Ireland and Mauritius both emerging as high-demand destinations, Emirates is positioning itself to support increasing leisure and business travel between the Middle East, Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Third Daily Flight to Dublin Begins October 26, 2025

From October 26, 2025, Emirates will introduce a third daily flight on the Dubai–Dublin route under flight numbers EK165/166. Operated by a Boeing 777-300ER in a three-class configuration (First, Business, and Economy), the new service will depart early morning from Dubai, complementing Emirates’ current afternoon and evening flights to Ireland.

This schedule adjustment will allow travelers departing from Dublin more flexibility when transiting to key destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Gulf region, including Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, and Bangkok. Emirates’ Dublin expansion enhances access not only for Irish tourists heading east but also for inbound tourism from Asia and the Middle East to Ireland.

According to Tourism Ireland, the country welcomed over 10 million international visitors pre-pandemic, and demand is rebounding rapidly in 2025. Emirates’ added frequency will contribute to this growth by enabling smoother long-haul connections and helping position Ireland as a year-round tourism and business destination.

Mauritius Gains Third Daily Flight from December 1, 2025

In addition to Dublin, Mauritius will receive a third daily Emirates service beginning December 1, 2025, operating as EK709/710. This new frequency will be served by a Boeing 777-300ER, complementing the two existing Airbus A380 services (EK701/702 and EK703/704).

The increase in frequency supports growing demand for leisure travel to the Indian Ocean island, a destination famed for its beaches, lagoons, and luxury resorts. Emirates’ expanded schedule will offer improved connectivity from source markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

The Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has set a 2025 target of 1.5 million international tourist arrivals, with strong contributions expected from markets like France, the UK, Germany, India, and China. Emirates’ partnership with Air Mauritius, through a codeshare agreement, will further streamline travel across both airlines’ networks, ensuring better schedule alignment and one-ticket connectivity for travelers worldwide.

Premium Travel Experience Across Three Classes

Passengers flying on the new services to Dublin and Mauritius can expect Emirates’ award-winning in-flight offerings across all cabin classes.

  • First Class: Private suites, lie-flat beds, personal mini-bars, and fine dining.
  • Business Class: Spacious lie-flat seats, dedicated lounges, gourmet cuisine, and premium inflight service.
  • Economy Class: Generous legroom, diverse cuisine, and Emirates’ ICE entertainment system offering 5,000+ channels.

The Boeing 777 aircraft servicing the new routes will include Wi-Fi connectivity, in-seat power, and multilingual crew, catering to diverse international travelers.

Boosting Economic and Tourism Growth

The addition of these flights is expected to have a ripple effect across the tourism and hospitality sectors in both Ireland and Mauritius. For Dublin, enhanced connectivity is likely to encourage greater inbound tourism, business travel, and diaspora visits. For Mauritius, more direct flights mean wider global reach for its luxury resort market and eco-tourism offerings.

This expansion aligns with Emirates’ broader network strategy of improving frequency to high-performing destinations. According to the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Ireland and Mauritius are among the top 25 source markets for visitors to Dubai in 2024, with demand projected to rise further in 2025.

The increased capacity also supports Emirates’ role as a connector between East and West, offering seamless one-stop travel through Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the busiest and most efficient hubs globally.

Conclusion

With third daily services to Dublin and Mauritius launching in late 2025, Emirates is reaffirming its commitment to providing premium travel experiences and convenient global access. These additions come at a time when international travel demand is peaking, and further position Emirates as a key player in bridging continents through its extensive Middle Eastern hub in Dubai.

As travelers seek more seamless, flexible, and luxurious flight options, Emirates is expanding its offerings in line with global trends. These new services will not only benefit leisure and business travelers alike but also foster stronger tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the UAE, Ireland, and Mauritius.
