Oneworld and The Indian Hotels Company Limited have launched a first-of-its-kind loyalty partnership connecting a global airline alliance with an international hotel group, giving eligible travelers access to accommodation, dining and spa savings across a hospitality portfolio spanning four continents.
Effective from June 3, 2026, the agreement links Oneworld’s network of nearly 1,000 destinations with IHCL’s portfolio of more than 630 hotels. The collaboration creates a wider travel ecosystem for passengers who want benefits that extend beyond airports and aircraft cabins into hotels, restaurants and wellness experiences.
The partnership includes several IHCL brands, including Taj, Claridges Collection, Brij, SeleQtions, Clarks, Gateway, Vivanta, Ginger, Tree of Life and amã Stays & Trails.
For international travelers, the launch adds new value to business trips, city breaks, luxury holidays and multi-destination itineraries. It also strengthens India’s position within the global travel market by connecting frequent flyers with a broad hospitality network.
Emerald Members Gain 15% Savings
Oneworld Emerald, Sapphire and Ruby members can access preferential savings when booking participating IHCL properties through dedicated partnership channels.
Emerald members receive a 15% discount on the best available room rate, food and non-alcoholic beverages, and spa treatments. Sapphire and Ruby members receive a 10% discount across the same categories.
The benefits can reduce the total cost of a stay while improving the on-property experience. Travelers can save on rooms, enjoy dining privileges and add wellness treatments without leaving the hotel ecosystem.
Members booking their first eligible stay through the partnership can also unlock five vouchers providing 20% savings on stays and food and beverage experiences.
This combination of immediate discounts and introductory vouchers gives frequent flyers a practical incentive to explore IHCL properties during domestic and international journeys.
Taj Hotels and Global Properties Expand Choice
The hotel portfolio includes properties across luxury, upscale, lifestyle and value-focused segments, giving travelers options for different budgets and trip types.
Among the best-known hotels are The Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai and Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur. The international portfolio also includes The Pierre in New York and St. James’ Court in London.
The partnership therefore serves more than one type of traveler. A passenger can book a heritage hotel in India, a premium city stay abroad, a leisure resort or a practical business hotel while accessing loyalty-linked savings.
IHCL has 255 properties in its development pipeline across 14 countries and more than 250 locations. As the hotel portfolio expands, the loyalty partnership could create additional benefits across emerging destinations and established tourism markets.

Eleven Oneworld member airlines serve 17 cities across the country, including Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Goa. The alliance operates nearly 1,000 weekly flights connecting India with global hubs such as London, Hong Kong, New York and Muscat.
This connectivity creates opportunities for both inbound and outbound tourism. International visitors can combine flights with hotel benefits when exploring Indian cities, cultural destinations and leisure markets. Indian travelers flying abroad can also access selected IHCL properties during international journeys.

Reciprocal Status Recognition Is Planned
The next phase of the partnership is expected to introduce reciprocal loyalty recognition between Oneworld and Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass.
Under the planned framework, Oneworld Emerald members will be matched to Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass Gold status. Sapphire and Ruby members will be matched to Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass Silver status.
Taj InnerCircle – NeuPass Platinum and Gold members holding an eligible Oneworld airline frequent flyer account will be matched to Oneworld Sapphire. Copper and Silver members will be matched to Oneworld Ruby.
Both organizations are also exploring opportunities for travelers to earn airline loyalty points on hotel stays through selected airline programmes.
