Emirates is offering eligible international travellers up to 7,200 bonus Skywards Miles for visiting Dubai during its latest loyalty campaign. Members earn one bonus mile for every minute of their scheduled stay, reaching the maximum after five days.
The offer covers qualifying travel between 21 October and 13 December 2026. Passengers must book eligible flights and complete registration by 5 November.
Both Emirates and flydubai participate, giving qualifying customers an incentive to include Dubai in their travel plans. The campaign accommodates destination holidays and eligible stopovers, linking airline rewards with time spent visiting the emirate.
However, membership alone does not secure the bonus. Ticket conditions, journey origin, residency and registration requirements determine eligibility.
Booking and Registration Close on 5 November
The booking period runs from 21 October until 5 November 2026. Travellers must also register for the promotion before that deadline.
Existing Skywards members can participate, while eligible newcomers must enrol and register within the required period. UAE residents, identified through their membership profiles, cannot qualify.
An eligible journey must originate outside the UAE and meet the promotion’s round-trip requirements. The Dubai stay must last at least 24 hours and cannot exceed 30 days.
Qualifying journeys must begin and finish within the promotional travel period, which ends on 13 December.
Award tickets are excluded. Certain codeshare and interline arrangements also fall outside the offer, making ticket details particularly important.
Passengers should check the ticket issuer, applicable ticket prefix, fare conditions and operating flights before purchasing. Simply travelling on a participating airline does not automatically establish eligibility.
Five Days Earn the Maximum Bonus
The reward calculation uses scheduled arrival and departure times on the ticket. It therefore measures the qualifying itinerary rather than individual sightseeing activity.
A scheduled 24-hour stay earns 1,440 bonus miles. Two days generate 2,880 miles, while three days produce 4,320.
Four days earn 5,760 miles, and five days reach the 7,200-mile ceiling. Longer eligible visits do not increase that promotional award.
This structure gives travellers a clear limit when comparing different stay lengths. Extending a five-day visit solely for additional promotional miles would provide no further benefit.
The bonus applies only to the first eligible Dubai stay during the campaign. Members cannot repeatedly claim the maximum through multiple visits.
Where competing promotions apply, the stated conditions provide for the higher eligible promotional bonus. Qualifying miles should arrive within 30 days after the stay.
Dubai Stopovers Create Tourism Opportunities
The campaign gives passengers another reason to consider leaving the airport and spending time in Dubai during an international itinerary.
For eligible travellers, a stopover can combine an onward journey with several days of sightseeing, dining or visiting family.
That creates potential opportunities for hotels, restaurants, attractions, retailers and local transport businesses. A passenger who adds overnight accommodation can contribute spending across several tourism services.
Nevertheless, the offer does not establish how many additional visitors will arrive. Its eventual effect will depend on participation and booking decisions.
For tourism operators, the practical opportunity lies in helping travellers coordinate flights with accommodation and activities. Packages must still represent value independently of the mileage incentive.
Reward Value Depends on Redemption Choices
The 7,200-mile maximum is a loyalty benefit rather than a fixed cash saving. Its usefulness depends on available redemption options and programme conditions.
Members should check their intended rewards before assigning a monetary value to the bonus. The offer does not guarantee a particular flight or upgrade.
For someone already planning an eligible Dubai holiday, the additional miles could improve the overall value of an existing itinerary.
Travellers considering a new visit should compare airfare, accommodation, meals, transfers and activities against their budget.
A longer stay may bring extra hotel and dining costs that exceed the personal value of the reward. Those expenses deserve separate consideration.
Travellers Should Check the Complete Itinerary
Before booking, passengers should confirm entry requirements for their nationality and circumstances. A qualifying airline ticket does not itself provide permission to enter the UAE.
Scheduled flight times also matter because they determine the mileage calculation. Hotel nights alone may not accurately indicate the qualifying duration.
Travellers should review cancellation conditions and current official travel guidance alongside the promotion’s eligibility rules.
With booking and registration closing on 5 November, interested members have a limited decision window. The strongest fit is an eligible journey that already meets their travel plans, budget and preferred Dubai stay.
