Cunard, the historic British cruise line with a legacy of luxury travel since 1840, has unveiled an expansive new collection of voyages for its 2027–2028 sailing calendar. The newly launched program features 195 individual sailings visiting 115 destinations across 32 countries from April 2027 through January 2028.

This ambitious expansion includes four maiden calls for the line’s newest vessel, Queen Anne, and several first-time visits for other ships in the Cunard fleet. With 93 UNESCO World Heritage sites included in the itineraries, 18 overnight stays in port, and 33 late-evening departures, Cunard’s latest program is crafted to offer guests rich cultural immersion and memorable onboard experiences.

A Voyage Collection Spanning Continents

Across its four celebrated Queens—Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, and Queen Anne—Cunard’s 2027–2028 season introduces a range of experiences, from iconic transatlantic crossings to explorations of the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and beyond.

Katie McAlister, President of Cunard, emphasized the brand’s customer-focused evolution:

“This new program is all about giving our guests more choice and more unforgettable voyages. Whether it’s Queen Anne visiting new destinations, Queen Elizabeth returning to favourite ports in the Med, or Queen Mary 2 sailing iconic routes with her usual style, there’s something to suit every kind of traveler.”

Highlights Across the Cunard Fleet

Queen Anne: A Bold New Era of Exploration

Having entered service in May 2024, Queen Anne will offer an eclectic mix of round-trip voyages from Southampton. Itineraries range from Mediterranean sunshine escapes to Northern European adventures in pursuit of the Northern Lights. Highlights include extended stays in Barcelona and Copenhagen, and a special New Year’s Eve call in Madeira timed for the island’s famed fireworks display. Her schedule includes four maiden port visits, notably Sorrento (Italy) and La Rochelle (France).

Queen Elizabeth: A Return to the Mediterranean

In 2027, Queen Elizabeth returns to European waters for the first time in over a decade, operating from May to October. The vessel will call at 22 Mediterranean ports not visited in the past 15 years. The 65 newly added sailings range from 7 to 28 nights, taking guests to cultural gems such as Palermo, Sicily’s culinary haven, and the vibrant metropolis of Istanbul.

Queen Mary 2: Legendary Luxury, Reimagined

Following an extensive refurbishment in early 2027, Queen Mary 2 will continue its iconic transatlantic crossings while offering specialized sailings to Canada, New England, Norway, and the Caribbean. Guests can look forward to celebrating Independence Day in Boston and spending the holiday season amid sun-kissed Caribbean shores. A notable addition includes Cunard’s first-ever visit to Charlottetown, Canada.

Queen Victoria: Scenic Voyages with British Charm

Queen Victoria will homeport in Southampton, sailing immersive itineraries to destinations such as Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, and Iceland. The ship will also revisit Grundarfjordur, Iceland—a port not featured in a Cunard itinerary since 2009. Her 25 sailings will blend sunny Mediterranean charm with rugged northern landscapes, offering guests a diverse palette of experiences.

Maiden Ports and Cultural Depth

In addition to Queen Anne’s four inaugural port visits, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth will each make distinctive maiden calls to ports such as Calvi in France, Trieste in Italy, and Riga, Latvia. With a cumulative 93 UNESCO World Heritage sites included, Cunard continues to offer historically and culturally rich itineraries to its discerning guests.

Whether it’s walking the ancient streets of Dubrovnik, tasting wine in Bordeaux, or watching a Nordic sunset from the deck, Cunard’s emphasis on cultural depth and authentic experiences remains central to its global programming.

Multi-Ship Journeys with “Queen-to-Queen” Options

For those seeking to experience the distinctive ambiance of multiple Cunard vessels, the line is offering “Queen-to-Queen” journeys. Guests can book back-to-back voyages across two or even three of the fleet’s ships, seamlessly blending different routes and onboard styles within a single vacation.

Booking Details and Early Access

Cunard’s loyalists, the Cunard World Club members, can access priority booking beginning June 11, 2025, at 6 a.m. PDT. General public bookings will open June 12, 2025, at 6 a.m. PDT.
