Regent Seven Seas Cruises®, the world’s leading ultra-luxury cruise line, has revealed an exciting addition to its gastronomic offerings: Azure, a brand-new Mediterranean restaurant set to debut aboard the upcoming Seven Seas Prestige™. The announcement, accompanied by the release of visually captivating renderings, sets the stage for what promises to be a landmark culinary experience at sea.

Azure will join six other specialty restaurants on Seven Seas Prestige, which is scheduled to launch in December 2026. The venue is designed to evoke the warmth and vibrancy of the Mediterranean region, delivering an innovative mezze-style dining experience that emphasizes connection, sharing, and authentic regional flavors.

Studio DADO, the Miami-based design firm known for its luxurious and thoughtfully curated spaces, crafted Azure with inspiration drawn from the diverse culinary cultures of the Mediterranean—from Greece and Italy to Morocco, Israel, and Lebanon. Guests will be immersed in a tapestry of Mediterranean heritage through a setting enriched with arabesque mosaics, rustic pottery, and a dramatic chandelier inspired by the olive tree.

“Cuisine has always been at the heart of the Regent experience, and with Seven Seas Prestige, we are taking our commitment to Epicurean Perfection to an entirely new level,” said Jason Montague, chief luxury officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. “Azure is an innovative and exciting new dining experience that will bring fresh flavors and a bold new concept for Regent guests to enjoy.”

The ship will boast a total of 11 distinct dining experiences, including Azure and another new venue to be revealed soon. Longtime favorites such as Compass Rose, Pacific Rim, Prime 7, Chartreuse, and Sette Mari at La Veranda will also return, each with newly reimagined interiors and enhanced menus.

Each specialty restaurant has been uniquely designed to reflect its culinary roots:

  • Compass Rose features celestial-inspired interiors with mirrored panels and oceanic motifs, offering guests the flexibility to customize their meals nightly.
  • Prime 7, a reinvention of the classic American steakhouse, pays tribute to Chicago’s industrial era with rich tones and a dramatic Arctic Henna marble bar.
  • Chartreuse exudes French elegance through an Art Deco lens, drawing from early 20th-century European design and the timeless charm of a society salon.
  • Pacific Rim embraces Japanese design principles of harmony and balance, with a serene atmosphere and natural materials that reflect the intricacy of Pan-Asian cuisine.
  • Sette Mari at La Veranda transforms the ship’s buffet-style daytime venue into an intimate Italian restaurant by night, offering guests fine wines and authentic Italian dishes alongside ocean views.

Azure stands out with its mezze-style format, a departure from the traditional multi-course structure. It encourages communal dining and leisurely indulgence, with small plates, tantalizing amuse-bouche, main courses, and Mediterranean-inspired desserts. This culinary journey captures the essence of the region’s convivial spirit and richly varied culinary landscape.

Studio DADO’s Yohandel Ruiz described Azure as a “journey to the Levant,” with design elements that make guests feel both transported and at home. Key features include a chandelier inspired by olives, niches filled with dried flowers and clay pots, and a palette reflecting sun-drenched Mediterranean coastlines.

Seven Seas Prestige will carry only 822 guests, ensuring one of the highest passenger-to-space ratios in the cruise industry. The ship will introduce new suite categories and elevate onboard luxury with lavish accommodations, expansive public areas, and deeply personalized service. With dining as a central pillar of the guest experience, the debut of Azure is a significant addition to Regent’s Epicurean Perfection offering.

As part of Regent’s “Most Inclusive Luxury Experience®,” all dining, beverages including fine wines and spirits, 24-hour in-suite dining, and unlimited shore excursions are included in the voyage fare. The ship will also offer casual dining options such as the Pool Grill and Coffee Connection, which serves barista-crafted coffees, pastries, and light snacks throughout the day.

Menus for Azure and the other restaurants aboard Seven Seas Prestige will be revealed closer to the ship’s maiden voyage. However, culinary enthusiasts and luxury travelers eager to be among the first to experience this new chapter in ultra-luxury cruising can register their interest starting June 11, 2025, with bookings opening June 25.
