Hilton has named Ted Selogie as the new General Manager of the New York Hilton Midtown, one of the city’s most iconic and largest hotels. Selogie brings over 30 years of hotel industry experience to this role. He has held leadership positions with several top global hospitality brands, including Marriott International, Accor, Fairmont, and now Hilton. His career began as a barback at the North Shore Hilton in Skokie, Illinois—now a DoubleTree by Hilton—and steadily progressed through roles of increasing responsibility.
Before joining the New York Hilton Midtown, Selogie served as the General Manager of Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, where his leadership helped the hotel earn a Forbes 5-Star Spa rating and rank as TripAdvisor’s #1 luxury hotel in LA. His ability to drive results while maintaining high service standards makes him an ideal fit for the Midtown property.

He also oversaw 13 hotels in the Chicago area as an Area General Manager, gaining valuable expertise in leading complex, high-traffic properties.

He has served on advisory boards and committees for groups like the California Hotel & Lodging Association, Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association, and Visit California.
