Southwest Rapid Rewards Overhaul Adds Platinum Status and Companion Perks in 2027
Southwest Airlines plans to introduce three elite membership tiers from 1 January 2027, reshaping its Rapid Rewards loyalty programme. The changes include new Platinum status, expanded Companion Pass benefits and rewards earned while progressing towards higher membership levels.
