Caribbean Luxury Tourism Rises as Ocean Signature Resorts Unveils Major 2026 Upgrades

Ocean Signature Resorts is preparing a major wave of Caribbean resort upgrades for winter 2026, strengthening premium holiday experiences across Mexico, Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

The programme includes property renovations, upgraded accommodation, enhanced dining and wellness facilities, and expansion of the company’s adults-only luxury offering. Together, the changes target travellers seeking more personalised stays for couples, families and groups.

Ocean Signature Resorts, part of H10 Hotels, currently operates Caribbean properties across Mexico, Jamaica and Punta Cana. The company adopted the Ocean Signature Resorts identity as part of a broader strategy to strengthen its position in Caribbean hospitality.

Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún Begins New Era

One of the biggest changes will take place at Ocean Coral & Turquesa in Puerto Morelos, Mexico.

From November 19, 2026, the property is expected to operate under the new Ocean Coral Riviera Cancún identity. The repositioning will be accompanied by renovations across guestrooms, public areas, lobby spaces and dining venues.

The resort’s Privilege section will also receive substantial improvements. This premium area is expected to offer refreshed design, enhanced amenities and a more exclusive stay for travellers seeking additional comfort.

Puerto Morelos provides access to the Mexican Caribbean while offering a different atmosphere from the larger tourism centres of Cancún and Playa del Carmen. The refurbishment therefore strengthens accommodation choice within one of Mexico’s most important international leisure regions.

Riviera Maya Resorts Add Premium Features

Ocean Signature Resorts is also upgrading its Riviera Maya portfolio as demand continues for higher-quality all-inclusive experiences.

Ocean Maya Royale will introduce a redesigned climate-controlled lobby, creating a more comfortable arrival environment. Food and beverage facilities will also receive attention, including improvements to the Mexican restaurant and international buffet.

The resort is expected to add 12 suites featuring private pools. A new Elegance accommodation category will also follow a wider renovation programme, expanding options for adults seeking additional privacy and upgraded facilities.

Ocean Riviera Paradise will meanwhile strengthen its wellness offering through an expanded modern fitness centre.

Private pools are also planned within its Master Suite category, giving travellers access to larger accommodation with added resort luxury. Ocean Riviera Paradise is an established five-star beachfront resort in Riviera Maya near Playa del Carmen.

Jamaica Gains New Adults-Only Luxury Offering

Jamaica will become another major focus of the expansion.

Ocean Allure Eden Bay is expected to debut on November 1, 2026, introducing the premium adults-only Ocean Allure concept to the destination.

Located in Coral Spring, Trelawny, the beachfront property will target couples, groups of friends and travellers seeking a quieter luxury all-inclusive experience.

Its planned offering includes premium arrival services, enhanced dining, upgraded amenities and personalised concierge support. Guests choosing Privilege accommodation will receive additional services, including dedicated butler assistance.

The development follows the launch of Ocean Allure Costa Mujeres in Mexico, which became the first resort within H10 Hotels’ premium adults-only Ocean Allure concept in December 2025. That 599-suite beachfront property introduced high-end dining, wellness facilities and personalised Privilege services.

The Jamaica expansion therefore extends a hospitality model already designed around privacy, premium service and contemporary Caribbean luxury.

Punta Cana Adds More Swim-Up Accommodation

Ocean Signature Resorts is also upgrading its presence in the Dominican Republic.

Ocean Blue & Sand in Punta Cana is expected to introduce new swim-up room options. These rooms will provide another choice for travellers who prioritise convenient pool access and resort-focused relaxation.

Such accommodation has become an increasingly visible feature of premium Caribbean resorts, particularly among couples and leisure travellers spending more time within all-inclusive properties.

The changes across Punta Cana, Jamaica and Mexico demonstrate how resort operators are investing not only in room inventory but also in experiences that can differentiate properties within competitive Caribbean destinations.

Premium Experiences Drive Caribbean Resort Strategy

The wider strategy places greater emphasis on accommodation design, dining, wellness, private facilities and personalised services.

Ocean Signature Resorts officially positions its portfolio around five-star Caribbean resorts in Riviera Maya, Costa Mujeres, Punta Cana and Jamaica.

Its Ocean Allure concept pushes further into the premium adults-only market. The first Costa Mujeres property features multiple restaurants and bars, dedicated wellness facilities, premium suites, entertainment and enhanced Privilege services.

The group also continues its sustainability efforts through H10 Hotels’ Stay Green programme, which supports environmental improvements across its wider operations.

For travellers considering winter 2026 Caribbean holidays, the latest changes create more choices across several major resort destinations. Mexico will combine renovated accommodation with expanded luxury facilities, Jamaica will gain a new premium adults-only option, and Punta Cana will strengthen its resort accommodation offering.

As the Caribbean enters another important winter travel season, Ocean Signature Resorts is positioning upgraded properties, personalised service and premium all-inclusive experiences at the centre of its growth strategy.
