WASHINGTON, D.C. — International hospitality owner and operator Lore Group has announced the appointment of Kristie Rasheed as Managing Director, U.S. Hotels. The strategic leadership addition reinforces the group’s ongoing commitment to operational performance, financial strategy, and guest experience delivery across its domestic luxury portfolio.
In her new capacity, Rasheed assumes leadership over Lore Group’s flagship properties in North America, including Riggs Washington DC, Lyle Washington DC, and Hotel Park Ave NYC. Her focus will center on building high-performing operational teams, optimizing revenue strategies, and elevating service standards while safeguarding the unique identity and heritage of each individual property.
Over Two Decades of Strategic Leadership in Luxury Hospitality
Rasheed brings more than 20 years of specialized experience in driving profitability, business strategy, and revenue optimization for high-end hotels, resorts, and multi-property management portfolios. Throughout her career, she has consistently demonstrated a balance of commercial discipline and operational leadership across both branded and independent luxury environments.
Most recently, Rasheed served as Vice President of Operations at Olympia Hospitality. In that role, she directed operations across a portfolio exceeding 40 properties, spanning premier independent assets alongside full-service Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott brands. Leading a cross-functional regional team spanning food and beverage, facilities, and daily operations, she worked closely with asset managers and hotel owners to strengthen bottom-line performance, oversee smooth hotel transitions, and facilitate strategic acquisitions.
Her background also includes holding senior leadership posts as Managing Director and General Manager at The Dewberry in Charleston, South Carolina. Under her operational stewardship, the luxury independent hotel achieved notable gains in market positioning, operational metrics, and guest satisfaction ratings. Furthermore, Rasheed served in senior management capacities with Destination Hotels and Resorts as well as Wyndham Vacation Rentals, acquiring deep expertise in new property developments, capital construction, sales, marketing, and cross-market revenue management.
Executive Endorsement and Alignment with Global Growth Vision
Lore Group’s leadership highlighted that Rasheed’s background in managing independent, design-focused properties aligns seamlessly with the brand’s global philosophy. The company, recognized for international flagships such as Pulitzer Amsterdam, One Hundred Shoreditch, and Sea Containers London, relies on tailored management models that honor local culture and individual property character.
Executive leadership noted that Rasheed brings a valuable combination of commercial instincts, team-building expertise, and operational rigor. As Lore Group expands its footprint, her leadership is expected to play a central role in guiding property-level teams, fostering talent development, and elevating the overall guest journey across the company’s American portfolio.
Expressing her enthusiasm for the position, Rasheed emphasized her commitment to balancing financial discipline with an entrepreneurial spirit. She noted that her primary focus will center on supporting hotel staff, enhancing guest engagement, and translating the parent company’s broader vision into long-term commercial success and operational consistency.
Professional Credentials and Industry Engagement
Rasheed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina and is a Certified Revenue Management Executive (CRME). Her professional expertise has also earned major industry accolades, including being named Revenue Management Executive of the Year for North America by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
Beyond operational management, Rasheed has actively contributed to regional tourism and education initiatives. Her leadership involvement includes serving as President of the Charleston Hospitality Association and contributing to the Board of Directors for the College of Charleston’s School of Hospitality and Tourism, reflecting a dedicated commitment to industry advocacy and hospitality workforce development.
Driving Strategic Value and Long-Term Hospitality Standards
In her executive role, Rasheed will lead all aspects of U.S. property performance, establishing robust commercial framework models to navigate changing consumer demand patterns. Her mandate includes creating sustainable operating strategies, improving food and beverage profitability, and driving direct-booking value across key metropolitan markets.
By placing an experienced luxury operator at the helm of its U.S. portfolio, Lore Group positions its domestic assets to capitalize on growing corporate, leisure, and high-end travel segments. Rasheed’s appointment signals a refined operational trajectory focused on luxury service execution, sustained financial growth, and market leadership in major destination cities.
