Virgin Voyages Unveils Immersive Food Festival at Sea for 2026

Virgin Voyages is redefining luxury cruising with its highly anticipated 2026 Eat & Drink Festival, a month-long celebration of culinary artistry that promises to delight all the senses. Known for its adults-only, modern approach to cruising, Virgin Voyages is celebrated for its gourmet dining, and this year the brand takes food lovers on a transformative voyage that will leave them with unforgettable memories.

From August 27 to September 28, Virgin Voyages will host the Eat & Drink Festival fleetwide. This year’s theme, the “Festival of Senses,” invites passengers—called Sailors—to embark on a multisensory journey where food is transformed into a theatrical event. This ship-wide culinary takeover will bring a fusion of flavors, sounds, scents, and visual splendor to every corner of the ship, ensuring that every bite and every sip is a story waiting to be told.

Virgin Voyages is known for its diverse dining options, and the festival will showcase a stunning array of global cuisines. Stylish eateries will offer everything from vibrant Mexican fare to aromatic Indian dishes and sizzling Korean BBQ—all included in the cruise fare. Michelin-starred chefs have curated the menus, ensuring that each bite is a work of art. Yet, the festival is not just about food; it is about engaging every sense in a way that turns dining into pure magic.

Charles Steadman, Virgin Voyages’ Director of Food & Beverage Experiences, explains that the team spent months crafting these moments. “There’s a unique feeling when a meal becomes a performance—the atmosphere, aroma, and sounds all align,” he said. “This year, we asked how we could engineer even more of those magical moments, and the Festival of Senses is the result.”

One of the standout events during the festival is the Feast for the Senses—a dynamic, multi-sensory art installation inside The Manor, where short films of food and drink come to life. Sailors will also enjoy a Sensory Dinner Series at The Wake, presented by the celebrated duo behind Caputo’s Kitchen. Another highlight is the Color Me Curious dinner, where each course at Extra Virgin is paired with a color-themed cocktail.

On sea days, Sailors can deepen their passion for brews by attending Sea-Cerone, a beer master class held at Draught Haus, where they’ll explore the world of beer styles and tasting techniques. Returning for the festival is the fan-favorite Shhh… Speakeasy, a phone-free lounge with a fresh look and a new cocktail lineup.

In addition to the culinary journey, Virgin Voyages is introducing Ariya, a brand-new Indian restaurant concept on the Valiant Lady this fall. This expansion continues to elevate the cruise line’s dining reputation, offering guests a fresh palette of flavors and cultural exploration at sea.

As the 2026 Eat & Drink Festival approaches, Virgin Voyages invites curious travelers to embark on this unforgettable voyage. Whether you are a devoted foodie or simply seeking a new way to experience luxury at sea, these curated culinary adventures promise to transport you beyond the plate and into a world where food, art, and storytelling converge.
