Fairmont Christmas 2026 Unveils Festive Escapes Across the World

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has unveiled its Christmas 2026 programme, combining creative workshops, family entertainment, festive dining and wellness experiences. Its global campaign, Wrapped in the Moment, spans more than 90 hotels across over 20 destinations.

Participating properties include locations in Japan, Canada, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Brazil. The programme gives travellers opportunities to build seasonal activities into city breaks, resort holidays and winter escapes.

Fairmont will also support Make-A-Wish through selected festive experiences and Christmas card sales, connecting holiday celebrations with charitable fundraising.

Four Themes Shape Festive Hotel Experiences

The Accor luxury brand has organised its celebrations around four themes: Let’s Make, Let’s Sparkle, Let’s Connect and Let’s Feel.

Together, these themes cover hands-on activities, seasonal entertainment, shared dining and opportunities to relax. Individual hotels will adapt their programmes to their surroundings and communities.

For travellers, that creates different experiences within the same campaign. A Canadian winter stay could include outdoor recreation, while a tropical resort visit might centre on spa rituals.

The programme also extends beyond accommodation, offering families, couples and independent guests additional reasons to spend time at participating properties.

Christmas Workshops Reach Japan and Britain

Fairmont Tokyo will host a Christmas workshop led by professional florists. Guests can create seasonal decorations while learning techniques from the hotel’s floral specialists.

In Britain, Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere will hold a wreath-making workshop on 26 November 2026. An experienced florist will guide participants, with mince pies and mulled wine accompanying the session.

These activities bring festive travel experiences into November, giving visitors options before the main Christmas holiday period.

Meanwhile, Fairmont Amman in Jordan will invite guests to make gingerbread houses with hotel chefs. The activity combines practical creativity with a familiar Christmas tradition.

Canada Builds Family Holiday Itineraries

Canadian properties will offer several creative activities for families travelling during December.

Fairmont Le Château Montebello plans Santa’s Workshop activities around the weekends of 6 and 13 December. Children can write letters to Santa, while families can join candle-making and wool workshops.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler will offer chocolate bark making, while Fairmont Tremblant will introduce ceramic painting.

Whistler’s programme also includes wildlife storytelling on 19 December, when a specialist will introduce visitors to local bears.

On Christmas Eve, Mrs Claus will lead seasonal storytelling. These scheduled experiences give families activities to consider when choosing arrival dates and organising their stays.

North America Adds Santa Visits and Celebrations

Fairmont Grand Del Mar in California will welcome families to Santa’s chalet for photographs and storytelling. A Christmas Eve reading will add another gathering for guests spending the holiday at the property.

Elsewhere in California, Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa will hold its Christmas tree-lighting celebration on 3 December.

The event will bring together hotel guests, local organisations and Make-A-Wish representatives.

Selected hotels will also sell Christmas cards featuring artwork by children connected with the charity. Profits from those sales will support Make-A-Wish’s work with children facing serious illnesses.

Festive Dining Connects Global Destinations

In Abu Dhabi, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr will serve a special hot chocolate throughout December. Each AED 55 cup will contribute towards Make-A-Wish UAE.

Fairmont Dubai will offer Christmas Eve dining on 24 December and Christmas Day lunch on 25 December.

In Brazil, Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana will host Christmas afternoon tea on 19 December. An orchestral performance will follow on 20 December, with a Christmas choir appearing on 23 December.

Meanwhile, Fairmont Singapore’s ANTI:DOTE will combine festive cocktails with traditional board games, creating a setting for relaxed holiday gatherings.

Wellness Offers a Quieter Seasonal Escape

Fairmont Mayakoba in Mexico will offer a vinotherapy ritual featuring grape-seed exfoliation, a body mask and massage. Guests can also experience a traditional temazcal ceremony.

In Puerto Rico, Fairmont El San Juan Hotel will introduce moonlight meditation beneath its Banyan Tree, alongside seasonal spa offerings.

Fairmont Chateau Whistler will provide guided cross-country skiing through winter landscapes, adding an active option to the programme.

These experiences broaden the festive offer for visitors seeking relaxation or outdoor time alongside traditional Christmas celebrations.

Booking Details Vary Between Hotels

Travellers should confirm event dates, prices and availability with their chosen property before finalising holiday arrangements.

Some experiences may require separate reservations or payment. Children’s activities may also have age requirements, while accommodation and event cancellation conditions can differ.

Matching hotel stays with specific programme dates will help guests include their preferred celebrations within a wider destination itinerary.
