Four Seasons Hotel Singapore will introduce a new daytime dining experience on September 11, 2026, with the launch of One-Ninety Bar Garden Café.
The concept combines the relaxed personality of a neighbourhood café with the refined service and culinary craftsmanship associated with the luxury hotel. It is designed for local residents and international visitors seeking anything from a quick takeaway to a leisurely afternoon.
Handcrafted pastries form the centrepiece of the new offering. However, the menu will also feature breakfast-inspired dishes, nourishing bowls, sandwiches, savouries and locally influenced drinks.
The café will operate daily between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., positioning it as a flexible destination for brunch, lunch, afternoon refreshments and informal meetings.
Botanical terrace creates an urban retreat
The neighbouring Singapore Botanic Gardens inspires the café’s design and atmosphere.
Cascading foliage, potted plants and warm wood tones frame the alfresco terrace, while overhead fans create a comfortable environment for daytime dining. Guests can choose between indoor seating and the garden-inspired outdoor area.
The design introduces a calmer rhythm to the hotel’s food and beverage experience. Attentive service will complement an informal setting that encourages guests to remain for an unhurried meal or afternoon conversation.
Its botanical identity may particularly appeal to travellers exploring nearby attractions and the Orchard Road area. The café offers them a convenient pause within a luxury hotel while retaining the accessible character of a city neighbourhood venue.
Fresh pastries anchor the experience
Executive Pastry Chef Daniel Windelhed leads the pastry kitchen, where freshly baked items will appear at the display counter throughout the day.
The selection includes almond croissants, pain au chocolat and classic butter croissants. Baking the viennoiserie at intervals will allow guests to enjoy products closer to the moment they leave the oven.
A rotating Cake of the Day will sit alongside a Signature Selection. Seasonal creations include Strawberry Pistachio Cake, Valrhona Chocolate Tart and Tiramisù Classico.
The hotel’s signature Burnt Basque Cheesecake will provide another indulgent choice. Meanwhile, the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Chunk Cookie will be baked to order, creating golden edges and a soft centre for each serving.
The emphasis on freshness could make the café attractive to hotel guests, local diners and visitors searching for premium pastry experiences during their Singapore stay.
Lighter choices follow the day’s rhythm
Director of Food and Beverage Summer Lo said the concept takes inspiration from Singapore’s neighbourhood café culture. The menu aims to be inventive and convenient while reflecting the culinary team’s attention to detail.
A “Light and Lovely” selection provides smaller and more nourishing options. Guests can choose layered Bircher Muesli, Tropical Chia Pudding or Greek Yogurt and Berry Jars.
More substantial Power Bowls include a Signature Salmon Poke Bowl with soy-marinated salmon, an onsen egg and truffle miso.
Other options include a Lemon Thyme Chicken Power Bowl and a Plant Protein Vegetable Bowl. The plant-based version combines organic millet with beetroot hummus, expanding the menu for guests with different dietary preferences.
Brunch menu brings local and global flavours
One-Ninety Bar Garden Café will offer all-day brunch dishes for diners who prefer a more indulgent meal.
The English Breakfast Royale Sandwich presents a luxurious interpretation of a familiar morning favourite. Avocado Toast arrives on premium sourdough, while an Asparagus Egg White Soufflé Frittata offers a lighter alternative.
Steak and Eggs provides a generous choice for guests looking for a substantial brunch or afternoon meal.
A Singapore Chilli Crab Omelette introduces a distinctive local flavour and is served with mantou. The dish connects the international hotel setting with one of the city’s most recognisable culinary traditions.
The “Between Bread” selection broadens the lunch offering. It includes a Prawn Aglio Olio Sandwich, Grilled Pork Banh-Mi and Italian Panuozzo made using pizza dough.
Together, the menu’s local and international influences reflect Singapore’s multicultural dining identity.
Signature drinks add a Singaporean character
The beverage programme complements the pastries and savouries with coffee creations inspired by local and regional flavours.
Options include a Mont Blanc combining espresso and orange, alongside Kopi Cream. Peanut Butter and Black Sesame Lattes offer richer flavour profiles for guests seeking something beyond a conventional coffee.
A Grapefruit Tonic Espresso provides a refreshing alternative, while the Pandan Espresso Martini introduces a spirited interpretation of the café’s local identity.
These drinks can accompany a complete meal or serve as a reason for an afternoon visit on their own.
New café strengthens Singapore’s culinary tourism
Dining has become an essential part of Singapore’s international visitor experience. Luxury hotels increasingly contribute by creating venues that appeal to residents and travellers rather than serving only overnight guests.
One-Ninety Bar Garden Café follows this direction by offering an approachable daytime format within a refined hospitality environment.
From September 11, the new venue will give diners a fresh way to experience Four Seasons Hotel Singapore. Its garden setting, handcrafted pastries, multicultural savouries and locally inspired beverages could establish it as a notable addition to the city’s evolving café landscape.
