Nashville’s hospitality market is set for a major lifestyle expansion as Pendry Nashville partners with Ten Five Hospitality to develop and operate a collection of destination restaurants, bars and social spaces at Paseo South Gulch.
The collaboration marks the Los Angeles-based hospitality group’s first entry into Nashville. It will place food, beverage and entertainment experiences at the centre of the forthcoming hotel and branded residential development.
Ten Five Hospitality will oversee a ground-floor signature restaurant, a combined all-day café and lobby bar and a rooftop garden restaurant beside the hotel’s swimming pool. The concepts will serve hotel guests, residential owners, local diners and visitors exploring the wider South Gulch district.
The partnership is intended to create approachable, design-led venues shaped by Nashville’s identity. Rather than operating as secondary hotel facilities, the restaurants and bars will become essential parts of the property’s daily social experience.
Pendry Nashville is currently scheduled to debut in 2028, according to the hotel’s official project page. The 30-storey development will feature 180 guestrooms and suites, private residences, food and cocktail venues and extensive lifestyle amenities.
Ten Five Plans Three Distinctive Venues
A signature restaurant will occupy the ground floor, creating a prominent dining destination at street level. Its location will help connect the hotel with activity across Paseo South Gulch while providing an accessible venue for residents and visitors.
Ten Five Hospitality will also operate an all-day café integrated with the lobby bar. The space will transition from morning coffee and casual daytime service into an evening drinking and social venue.
This flexible format will allow the lobby to remain active across several dining periods. It will also create a more welcoming arrival experience while encouraging guests and local customers to use the space throughout the day.
The rooftop will feature a garden restaurant and adjoining bar directly beside the pool. Indoor and outdoor spaces will be connected to provide elevated dining, cocktails and social experiences with views across Nashville.
The rooftop concept could become a significant attraction for travellers seeking destination dining without leaving the hotel. It may also appeal to Nashville residents looking for new entertainment and culinary venues.
Together, the three concepts will create a complete food and beverage journey extending from street level to the rooftop. Morning café service, evening cocktails, destination dining and poolside socialising will be available within one development.
Culinary Group Makes Nashville Debut
Ten Five Hospitality enters Nashville with experience across major lifestyle and entertainment markets, including Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, New York and Washington, D.C.
Its portfolio includes Mother Wolf, developed with chef Evan Funke, alongside venues such as Ka’teen, Bar Lis and Desert 5 Spot. The group’s experience combines restaurant operations, nightlife programming, culinary development and highly designed social settings.
That operating model aligns with Nashville’s growing demand for hotels that offer more than guestrooms. Modern visitors increasingly seek properties where accommodation, dining, music, wellness and social activity are integrated.
The group’s Nashville debut also reflects the city’s continued appeal to hospitality operators seeking access to a growing culinary and entertainment destination. Nashville’s visitor economy is strongly connected to live music, conventions, major events, restaurants and nightlife.
By introducing original concepts rather than simply replicating existing venues, Ten Five Hospitality and Pendry aim to create spaces connected to the character of the city.
Hotel and Residences Create Connected Experience
Pendry Nashville will combine a 180-room hotel with 146 Pendry Residences Nashville, marking the Pendry brand’s first hotel and residential offering in Tennessee.
The tower is being designed by Nashville-based architectural firm ESa, while New York-based Post Company is leading the interiors. The wider property will include a rooftop pool, fitness and wellness amenities, meeting facilities and several dining and gathering spaces.
Pendry Residences Nashville will occupy the upper floors and offer homes ranging from one to four bedrooms. Owners will receive access to hotel services, amenities and dedicated residential facilities.
The mixed-use format will create a continuous hospitality environment serving both short-stay travellers and permanent residents. Restaurants, bars and wellness spaces will support everyday residential living while also strengthening the visitor experience.
SomeraRoad and TrestleStudio are developing the project, while Redeavor is leading residential sales. The development forms a major component of Paseo South Gulch, SomeraRoad’s mixed-use neighbourhood combining new construction with restored historic buildings.
SomeraRoad describes the wider district as a walkable, live-work-play-stay destination spread across approximately 5.5 acres. Pendry Nashville will anchor the development alongside restaurants, bars, shops, residences, offices and entertainment spaces.
Paseo South Gulch Gains Tourism Appeal
The Ten Five Hospitality partnership strengthens Paseo South Gulch’s potential as a dining and social destination rather than solely a hotel and residential district.
Street-level restaurants can encourage movement between the property and surrounding neighbourhood. Meanwhile, rooftop venues can attract both overnight visitors and local customers, supporting activity beyond traditional hotel operating patterns.
For Nashville tourism, the project will add luxury accommodation, branded residences and new culinary experiences close to downtown. It could also support demand linked to conventions, entertainment events, business travel and weekend leisure stays.
Pendry Nashville’s integrated model reflects a wider hospitality shift toward properties that function as neighbourhood destinations. Guests increasingly expect memorable dining and social experiences alongside design, service and comfortable accommodation.
With Ten Five Hospitality leading its culinary programme, Pendry Nashville is positioned to introduce a multi-layered lifestyle experience to Paseo South Gulch. The development will connect hotel stays, residential living, rooftop leisure and destination dining within one of Nashville’s most ambitious emerging districts.
