Summer 2027

Eurowings Plans Six New Summer 2027 Routes From Germany

Eurowings plans to add six direct routes from Germany for summer 2027, with launches scheduled between late March and early June. The expansion connects Berlin, Friedrichshafen, Hannover and Stuttgart with destinations in Italy, France, Ireland, Denmark and Spain.

Hannover–Venice is scheduled to open the programme on 28 March. Stuttgart services to Copenhagen and Madrid follow the next day. Calvi and Dublin join in May, with Berlin–Verona completing the planned additions on 4 June.

Frequencies range from one flight a week to six. That difference will shape which routes suit a short city break and which work better for a longer holiday.

Stuttgart Gets The Most Frequent New Services

Eurowings plans to start Stuttgart–Copenhagen and Stuttgart–Madrid on 29 March, with five flights a week on each route. Both are scheduled to rise to six weekly services from 11 April. The airline plans to use Airbus A319 aircraft.

These are the most frequent additions to the programme. For business travellers, the extra departures offer more ways to fit a flight around meetings. Holidaymakers can compare more outbound and return dates when arranging a short stay.

Copenhagen offers architecture, dining and cultural attractions, while Madrid draws visitors to its museums, historic districts and food scene. The direct services also give travellers from Denmark and Spain another way to reach Stuttgart and the surrounding region.

Hannover Adds Venice And Dublin At Different Frequencies

The Hannover–Venice Marco Polo service is scheduled to begin on 28 March with two flights a week. Hannover–Dublin follows on 3 May with one weekly departure. Both services are planned with Airbus A320 aircraft.

Venice gives travellers from northern Germany a direct option for exploring the city’s canals, architecture and museums. Dublin offers a different city break, with literary heritage, historic neighbourhoods and cultural attractions.

The two frequencies will affect how passengers build their trips. A twice-weekly service offers more scope to combine departure and return dates on the same route. With a single weekly flight, travellers seeking a shorter Dublin stay may need to consider an alternative return itinerary.

Berlin–Verona Opens A Route To Northern Italy

Berlin’s twice-weekly Verona service is scheduled to begin on 4 June using an Airbus A320neo. It is the last of the six routes to launch and the second new connection to Italy after Hannover–Venice.

Verona can anchor a city break built around Roman heritage, historic streets and local dining. It also offers a starting point for a longer holiday around Lake Garda. Travellers continuing to the lake will need to account for onward transport when comparing flights and accommodation.

The service creates a direct option in the other direction, too. Italian visitors can use it to reach Berlin for museum visits, historic landmarks and other cultural attractions.

Friedrichshafen Gains A Weekly Link To Corsica

Eurowings plans to fly from Friedrichshafen to Calvi once a week from 2 May, using an Airbus A319. The seasonal service links southern Germany with north-western Corsica, where Calvi offers beaches, coastal scenery and a historic citadel.

A weekly departure could fit a weeklong seaside holiday, depending on the final timetable and return availability. The route also creates an option for travellers from Corsica heading to Germany’s Lake Constance area.

For accommodation providers and tour operators, the schedule provides a specific arrival day around which to organise stays and transfers. It also makes coordination important when accommodation has fixed check-in dates or minimum stays.

Regional Airports Broaden Summer Holiday Options

The expansion distributes new direct services across four German airports. For passengers near Friedrichshafen or Hannover, a suitable local departure can simplify the journey by removing a transfer or a trip to a larger airport.

The published plans set out launch dates, frequencies and intended aircraft types. The final departure times, fares and available seats will determine how the routes fit individual itineraries.

Destination businesses also have different opportunities depending on the schedule. Copenhagen and Madrid can accommodate a wider range of stay lengths through their higher frequencies. Calvi and Dublin operators can build offers around a single weekly arrival. For travellers, comparing both flight directions with accommodation dates will help show which of the six routes fits the holiday they want.
