Philippine Airlines will restore nonstop flights between Manila and Dubai on October 2, 2026, giving travellers another direct option between the Philippines and the UAE. The service will begin with four flights a week, while the airline aims to increase frequency when operations allow.
The return matters for Filipino residents travelling home, families visiting across borders and holidaymakers heading in either direction. It also adds another airline choice as Dubai International Airport rebuilds capacity ahead of its busier winter travel period.
To mark the route’s return, PAL is offering a one-day promotion on September 23. Eligible bookings made with code PALDXB50 receive 50% off the base fare. Taxes, fees and other charges can still affect the final ticket price.
PAL Sets Four Weekly Departures
PAL plans to operate the route on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Flight PR 658 will depart Manila at 12:50 p.m. and arrive in Dubai at 6 p.m.
The return service, PR 659, will leave Dubai at 7:45 p.m. and arrive in Manila at 9:10 a.m. the following day. These times give passengers an evening departure from Dubai and a morning arrival in the Philippines.
The airline has said it intends to increase the route progressively towards daily service, subject to operational considerations. For now, travellers should plan around the four scheduled operating days and confirm flight details before departure.

Dubai International handled 31.5 million guests during the first half of 2026. Dubai Airports reported that airline capacity and connectivity were returning after a difficult operating period.
By the end of June, almost 50 international airlines served DXB, connecting it with 217 destinations across 99 countries. Dubai Airports expects stronger activity later in the year as airline networks recover and the winter schedule begins.
PAL’s October return adds to that rebuilding process. The timing places the restored route ahead of the winter period, when travel plans can include holidays, family visits and business trips.
The airline also plans to use a Boeing 777 on the service from October 25 through March 27, 2027. That scheduled aircraft change will bring in-flight entertainment to passengers travelling during the winter season.
