Fiji’s OUTRIGGER Launches Major 2026 Resort Sale as Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton Intensify Holiday Competition

OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels has launched its Mid-Year BULA Sale 2026, offering new savings and added benefits at two of Fiji’s leading island properties as competition for international resort travellers continues to intensify.

The campaign provides savings of up to 30% at OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort. Castaway Island, Fiji is offering an all-meals package with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside additional resort experiences.

Bookings will remain open from 1 to 31 August 2026 using the promotional code MIDYEAR. Eligible travel dates extend until 31 March 2028, although blackout periods and individual package conditions apply.

The long booking horizon gives families and couples time to organise expensive long-haul journeys. It also allows OUTRIGGER to secure future demand as Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton and other international hotel groups promote loyalty savings and resort packages.

Fiji tourism enters a stronger growth phase

The promotion arrives during a period of sustained tourism growth for Fiji.

The country welcomed 986,367 international visitors during 2025. Tourism earnings reached FJ$2.81 billion, increasing by 10.9% from the FJ$2.54 billion recorded in 2024.

Fiji then received 98,522 visitors during June 2026, the highest monthly arrival total recorded by the country.

These results demonstrate growing demand for Fiji’s beaches, marine environments, cultural experiences and premium accommodation. Rising visitor spending also creates opportunities for resorts, tour operators, restaurants and local communities.

Resort promotions can help extend that momentum by attracting advance bookings and encouraging longer stays during selected travel periods.

Coral Coast resort offers up to 30% off

OUTRIGGER Fiji Beach Resort is offering savings of up to 30% on room rates when guests reserve a minimum five-night stay.

Eligible travel is available from 1 November 2026 until 31 March 2028. Prices begin at FJ$476, including taxes, per night for two adults, subject to availability.

Guests can also receive 15% off selected half-board, full-board and all-inclusive meal plans. Direct bookings include an FJ$150 resort credit per stay.

Travellers may select an additional benefit, including an FJ$200 Bebe Spa credit, two days of MeiMei nanny service, two Adventure Limitless Passes or a rum masterclass.

These choices allow couples and families to personalise their stay. Parents may prioritise childcare, while other travellers can choose wellness, recreation or culinary experiences.

The Coral Coast property combines beachfront accommodation with cultural programming, family facilities and the OUTRIGGER Adventure Park. Its longer-stay structure could encourage visitors to explore more of Viti Levu rather than treating the resort as a short stop.

Castaway Island includes complete meal package

Castaway Island, Fiji is taking a different approach by focusing on predictable holiday spending.

Its Mid-Year BULA Sale includes daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for two adults and two children aged 12 or younger. This can help families understand a larger share of their total holiday cost before arrival.

The package also includes a bottle of wine, a beach cabana session and other selected benefits. Prices begin at FJ$1,861, including taxes, per night for two adults.

Eligible stays run from 27 October 2026 until 31 March 2028.

Located on Qalito Island in the Mamanuca group, Castaway Island combines traditional thatched-roof bures with beaches, coral reefs, swimming pools and family activities.

The resort marked its 60th anniversary in July 2026, having first welcomed guests in 1966. Its longstanding identity gives OUTRIGGER a strong position among travellers seeking a private-island experience connected with Fiji’s tourism history.

Added benefits reshape resort competition

OUTRIGGER is competing within a hospitality market where price alone no longer determines value.

Major companies such as Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton use loyalty programmes, member rates and advance-purchase discounts to attract travellers. Their global networks offer familiarity, points and status benefits across multiple destinations.

OUTRIGGER’s advantage lies in its specialised beach resort identity and its emphasis on local experiences. Rather than providing only a lower room rate, the Fiji campaign combines accommodation with dining, childcare, wellness and recreational benefits.

Members of OUTRIGGER DISCOVERY can also earn triple DISCOVERY Dollars on eligible bookings made during August. The programme connects travellers with more than 1,000 hotels across the Global Hotel Alliance network.

Travellers should compare complete holiday costs

Guests should examine the final reservation conditions before making payment.

Minimum stays, blackout dates, cancellation rules and meal inclusions can influence the real value of each package. Families should confirm children’s ages, occupancy limits and which restaurants or menus participate in meal plans.

Travellers should also compare transfer costs. Reaching a private-island resort may involve additional boat transportation, while a mainland property may provide easier road access from an international airport.

The Mid-Year BULA Sale demonstrates how Fiji’s resorts are adapting to a more competitive global market. By combining discounts with meals and personalised benefits, OUTRIGGER is giving travellers new reasons to plan longer Pacific holidays while supporting Fiji’s expanding tourism economy.
