BermudAir is preparing for a major winter travel expansion with a wider network of direct and one-stop services linking cities across the United States and Canada with Bermuda, the Turks and Caicos Islands, Belize, Anguilla and Guatemala.
The airline’s Winter 2026–27 schedule is expected to strengthen access to several high-demand leisure destinations while offering travelers alternatives to complicated itineraries through major connecting hubs. Many of the new and expanded services are scheduled to begin between late October and December 2026, with seasonal operations continuing into spring 2027.
The network strategy places particular emphasis on travelers seeking warm-weather holidays, shorter journey times and more convenient departures from secondary North American airports. It also gives island and Central American destinations greater access to valuable tourism markets across the US East Coast, Florida and Canada.
Turks and Caicos Leads the Expansion
The Turks and Caicos Islands form the largest part of BermudAir’s new winter programme, with services connecting Providenciales to Newark, Boston, Baltimore-Washington, Raleigh-Durham, Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg/Tampa and Toronto.
The expanded schedule creates a broader range of point-to-point options for visitors traveling to one of the Caribbean’s most established luxury tourism destinations. Providenciales is internationally known for Grace Bay Beach, upscale resorts, villa accommodation, diving, snorkeling, boating and premium coastal experiences.
Direct access from cities such as Raleigh-Durham and St. Petersburg/Tampa could be especially important for travelers who previously faced longer journeys through larger gateways. The routes may also support stronger hotel demand during the winter peak, when North American visitors traditionally seek tropical beach destinations.
Toronto connectivity further expands the destination’s reach into the Canadian market, creating another seasonal option for travelers looking to escape colder temperatures.
Belize Gains Five Important Air Links
Belize will receive new BermudAir connectivity from Boston, Raleigh-Durham, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando Sanford and St. Petersburg/Tampa.
These routes strengthen links between Belize and several major leisure markets in the northeastern and southeastern United States. They also provide new opportunities for tourism businesses connected to reef diving, jungle adventures, wildlife, Maya heritage, cultural travel and island stays.
Belize’s tourism offering combines Caribbean coastline, rainforests, archaeological attractions and access to the world’s second-largest barrier reef. Improved air service can help distribute visitor spending across hotels, tour companies, restaurants, transport providers and local communities.
The Fort Lauderdale and Florida Gulf Coast connections are likely to be particularly attractive for travelers seeking shorter regional journeys, while the Boston service opens a more direct pathway from New England.
Anguilla and Bermuda Receive Added Seasonal Capacity
BermudAir is also reinforcing service to Anguilla, including flights from Newark and Baltimore-Washington, alongside additional one-stop travel options from the Tampa Bay region and Toronto.
Anguilla’s tourism sector is strongly associated with luxury resorts, beachfront villas, fine dining and uncrowded coastal experiences. Expanded winter access can help the island attract premium leisure travelers while supporting accommodation providers during one of the most commercially important periods of the year.
Bermuda will remain central to the airline’s operations, with seasonal schedules connecting the island with Newark, Westchester County, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando Sanford and other North American cities.
The broader network supports Bermuda’s tourism economy by increasing travel choice for both leisure and visiting-friends-and-relatives markets. It also strengthens the island’s position as a short-haul destination offering beaches, golf, heritage attractions, culinary experiences and luxury hospitality.
Guatemala City Enters the Winter Network
Guatemala City will gain new direct service from Boston, introducing a valuable link between New England and Central America.
The connection may increase access to Guatemala’s wider tourism attractions, including colonial cities, Maya archaeological sites, volcanoes, lakes, rainforests and cultural communities. International visitors arriving in the capital can continue onward to some of the country’s most important heritage and adventure destinations.
The route also adds diversity to BermudAir’s network by extending beyond island leisure travel into Central America’s cultural and nature-based tourism market.
Boutique Airline Model Targets Leisure Travelers
BermudAir operates regional aircraft with a dual-class layout and no middle seats, positioning its onboard experience between traditional regional service and premium leisure travel.
The airline offers multiple fare categories, allowing passengers to choose between lower-priced basic options and products that include additional baggage, seat selection, priority benefits or greater flexibility. Complimentary onboard refreshments also form part of the carrier’s hospitality-focused approach.
This model may appeal to travelers who value convenience and comfort but do not require the scale or complexity of a major network airline.
Travelers Should Plan Around Seasonal Frequencies
Many routes in the winter schedule will operate once or twice weekly, meaning passengers may need to remain flexible when choosing departure and return dates. Some services will be nonstop, while others will operate directly or with an intermediate stop depending on the market.
Travelers should carefully review airport locations, particularly in Florida, where BermudAir is using Orlando Sanford and St. Petersburg-Clearwater alongside larger metropolitan gateways.
The airline has stated that schedules remain subject to regulatory approval, making it important for passengers to confirm final operating dates before completing accommodation or ground transport arrangements.
BermudAir’s expansion is nevertheless positioned to deliver a significant connectivity boost across the Caribbean and Central America. By linking smaller airports and high-value leisure destinations, the airline is creating new winter travel choices while supporting tourism growth across hotels, attractions, restaurants and local visitor economies.
