Wyndham HotelRez Deal to Add Over 40 Luxury Hotels

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts plans to add more than 40 independent luxury hotels to Registry Collection Hotels by early 2027. The expansion follows a strategic partnership with HotelRez Hotels & Resorts, announced on 2 November 2026.

The agreement includes properties in Thailand, Greece, Malta, Northern Ireland and Colombia. Participating hotels will retain their individual identities while gaining access to Wyndham’s international distribution and loyalty network.

For travellers, the partnership promises additional boutique, heritage and resort accommodation within Wyndham’s booking system. Eligible Wyndham Rewards members will also gain opportunities to earn and redeem points on qualifying stays as hotels complete integration.

Independent Hotels Keep Their Character

The partnership centres on Elegant Hotels of the World, HotelRez’s collection of independent luxury and design-focused properties.

Qualifying members can join Registry Collection while retaining their ownership, operational independence and existing hotel brands. They will also remain within Elegant Hotels of the World.

The arrangement expands Wyndham’s luxury offering without requiring participating properties to adopt an identical appearance or guest experience.

Many joining hotels have approximately 20 to 50 rooms, bringing smaller accommodation options into the wider portfolio.

Registry Collection included more than 30 properties across nine countries when the agreement was announced. The planned additions represent substantial growth, although a final combined property count has not been confirmed.

Thailand And Greece Add Distinctive Island Stays

TreeHouse Villas Koh Yao brings an adults-only island retreat in Thailand to the initial group.

Located on Koh Yao Noi, the property combines treehouse-inspired accommodation, private plunge pools and tropical surroundings overlooking Phang Nga Bay.

Its inclusion adds a nature-focused option for travellers seeking privacy and accommodation closely connected to its setting.

In Greece, The TownHouse Mykonos occupies a restored eighteenth-century manor house within Mykonos Old Town.

The adults-only hotel offers access to the waterfront, Little Venice and the island’s windmills. Its setting combines historic architecture with contemporary accommodation.

Together, the properties illustrate the variety expected within the expanded collection, rather than a single standardised resort model.

Northern Ireland Strengthens Wellness And Golf Options

Galgorm Resort and Roe Valley Resort bring two Northern Ireland properties into the announced expansion.

Galgorm occupies approximately 550 acres of parkland along the River Maine. Its Thermal Spa Village, golf facilities and leisure offering support countryside and wellness breaks near Belfast.

Roe Valley Resort occupies approximately 155 acres and overlooks an eighteen-hole golf course near Derry/Londonderry.

The property combines accommodation, dining, spa and leisure facilities, providing another base for rural stays and regional sightseeing.

For visitors, the additions broaden the collection’s countryside accommodation choices. However, facilities, booking conditions and guest experiences will remain specific to each resort.

Malta And Colombia Bring Heritage Appeal

Rosselli AX Privilege in Valletta adds a restored seventeenth-century palazzo to the initial portfolio.

The hotel combines historic architecture with contemporary interiors and destination dining, including Under Grain and Grain Street.

Its inclusion strengthens accommodation choices for travellers interested in Malta’s capital and its architectural heritage.

Meanwhile, Cinco Quintas Hotel Boutique adds a property within Cartagena’s historic walled city in Colombia.

The restored colonial building combines traditional architectural details with modern furnishings, tropical courtyards and rooftop views.

Both hotels demonstrate how the partnership connects destination-specific accommodation with a larger international booking network.

Wyndham Rewards Access Will Depend On Participation

Wyndham reported approximately 129 million enrolled Rewards members when announcing the agreement.

Participating hotels will offer opportunities to earn and redeem points on qualifying stays, subject to availability and programme conditions.

However, the announcement does not establish identical redemption prices, benefits or eligible room categories across every property.

Travellers should confirm that their chosen hotel has completed integration before relying on Wyndham booking or loyalty access.

Announced participation and availability for particular travel dates remain separate matters.

Customers should also compare cancellation terms, accommodation policies and any additional charges for dining, spa treatments or leisure facilities.

Hotel Integration Continues Towards Early 2027

The hotels are expected to join progressively, rather than through one simultaneous worldwide launch.

For independent owners, the agreement offers additional distribution opportunities while preserving control over daily operations and established identities.

A separate arrangement will provide selected Best Loved Hotels properties with optional Wyndham technology and distribution services. That participation does not automatically confer Registry Collection membership.

The wider partnership could improve visibility for distinctive hotels, but additional occupancy and tourism spending remain unmeasured.

Its immediate significance is broader accommodation choice. The rollout will determine when travellers can book individual properties and access qualifying loyalty benefits.
